1. What's New

Back to the index

Build of September 29, 2026. What you can do in myMemios™ today.

A TLDR at the top of every write-up. When you open a supplement, a medicine, a type of fasting or a gut ingredient, a short TLDR box comes first. It holds the most important facts: how strong the evidence is, what it is, its main and other uses, claims the research does not support, the recommended dose (or that none is established), the dose the studies used with what those studies found, the upper limit, what goes wrong, and the common myth. Every use and every dose is marked as supported, limited or not supported. Each line is the first sentence of the full write-up below it. For a medicine, the FDA boxed warning leads. A write-up that has a picture shows it above the TLDR. Herbs, foods and probiotics show a photo. A single chemical shows its structure drawn beside its name, and a mineral shows its element tile.

What's next after your free plan. On the free plan page, once you see your score and your 7-day plan, tap What's next. You sign in, read and tick your consents, and land on What's Next. If you gave your age, sex, height and weight on the plan page, your daily food goals show under Nutrition right away.

Your daily nutrition on the free plan page. Below your week 1 habits, the plan page shows your daily calories, protein and fiber, and your limits for saturated fat, sodium and added sugar. They are worked out from your age, sex, height and weight, and each one names its source. Calories assume light activity.

Assessments on Offers. The Exercise Assessment, the Nutrition Assessment and the Metabolic Assessment are listed on Offers. Each is a one-time purchase.

Sign in by text. Add your mobile number in Account, under Sign in by text, and sign in with a 6-digit code by text instead of opening an email. Your email sign-in keeps working. US numbers only.

Your snapshot follows your latest answers. Retake the assessment and Your current snapshot, your 12-month potential and your 7-day plan are rebuilt from your new answers the next time you open Your plan. VO2 max, steps a day and highest heart rate each have their own box, so a number stays with the question you typed it into.

Home, grouped. What's Next and Check-in sit at the top. Below Today and Add food, the square tiles come in four groups: From Memios™ (Offers, Longevity Letter), Your account and results (Account, Apple Health, Reports, Scores), What you build (Activity, Food, Medications, Supplements, Goals, Measurements) and What you do (Exclusions, Fasting, Gut Microbiome, Habits, Schedule).

Check-in on its own page. Tap Check-in on Home. How you feel and your energy, your symptoms, weight, sleep, water and gut are all on that page.

Fasting. Time a fast or mark a fast day, and see your last 30 days. Read every type of fasting, from a 12-hour overnight fast to the fasting-mimicking diet and Ramadan, with why someone would choose it, what goes wrong, who should be careful, and every source. A fast of 48 hours or more asks you to confirm your clinician agreed. Tap Fasting on Home.

Food in a supplement bundle, supplements in a recipe. Add a food ingredient, such as collagen peptides, to a supplement bundle, and its nutrition counts when you tick it. Add a supplement, such as protein powder, to a recipe.

Bundle rows start with your dose. Each row in a bundle starts with the amount and unit you saved on the product, and the unit is a list.

Exclusion Tracker. Take out a food, supplement, medicine or habit, choose the symptoms to track, and rate them from 0 to 10 each day. Add things back one at a time. Your progress shows each symptom before and now, a bar for each week, and what happened after each add-back. Tap Exclusions on Home.

Habits. Mark habits to build and habits to stop once a day, and see how many of the last 30 days you kept each one. Tap Habits on Home.

Open a medicine to read about it. Tap any medicine on your Medications list. If it has an FDA boxed warning, that comes first, quoted from the label. Then what it is, the answers to nine questions, and The good, the bad, and what it is taken with: what goes wrong, which medicines, supplements, foods and alcohol it is named with, what happens when you stop, what it is approved for and used for off-label, how it works, and what the label and the trials say about dose. Every claim quotes its source.

Taken together. Your Medications and Supplements screens show which of the things you take are named together in the research, for example sertraline and St John's wort. Each pair shows what the source says and links to it. Ask your prescriber or pharmacist before you change anything. If nothing is listed, the card says how many of your medicines it could check.

Pick units and forms from a list. Medications ask for Dose, Unit and Form, plus Used for, Prescriber, Pharmacy, Pickup date and Expiration date. Supplements ask for Serving amount, Serving unit and Form. The unit on each line of What is in it is a list too.

What's Next. The first card on Home. Tap it to see your day in four parts: Movement, Nutrition, Mindfulness and Habits. Movement shows your VO2 max, your fitness band and today's workouts, with the same plan choice as Today. Nutrition shows what is left of each daily food goal. Mindfulness shows the mind and spirit, and mind and body activities on your day. Habits shows what research says about building a habit, and how strong the evidence is.

Weight, Sleep and Gut Microbiome in one line each. Each card on Home shows your last entry and when, for example Last 235 lb, 3 days ago. Tap one to log and to see your history.

A way back to Home from every screen. Every screen has a Dashboard link at the top.

Gut Microbiome. Record every bowel movement and what it was like, plus bloating, gas, straining and urgency. See your week at a glance, see what you ate and took on the same days, and read what the research says about your gut. Tap the Gut Microbiome card on Home, or find it in the shortcuts.

Send us feedback from Account. Go to Account → Send feedback to report a problem or ask for a feature. Add up to three screenshots and tap Send. It reaches the Memios™ team straight away.

Your Base Score and Base Plan come with every plan. Finish your first assessment and your personalized 7-day plan opens, on Reclaim Free and on every plan above it.

Choose your plan at the top of Today. System Plan, Custom Plan or Coach's Plan. Pick Custom Plan and Today shows only the workouts you scheduled yourself.

Choose your reports. On Reports, tap Choose what shows and tick any measure from your Apple Health data. Each one gets its own chart, and your goals now count Apple Health too.

Tap any activity on your schedule to add your numbers. Tap its name and boxes open for what you did: minutes and distance for a walk, minutes and level for a vibration plate, sets and reps for strength. Anything else gets minutes and a note. Fill them in, set the time under Log it as if it was earlier, and tap Save. The activity is ticked done and says Saved with the time. Tick it done first and the boxes open for you, so you can add your numbers straight away. On a past day, the time starts on that day, not today.

Delete a scheduled item from every day. Tap the pencil beside it, then Delete. The cross only skips one day.

Use your Apple Health workout. Open an activity on your schedule and any Apple Health workout from that day shows under it. Tap Use these details and the activity takes your watch's minutes, distance and start time. It is ticked done and counted once. A workout of the same kind that started in the activity's time of day, or up to two hours either side of it, is listed first. Name your own activity with the word walk, hike, run, bike or swim and it is treated as that kind, with the boxes to match.

Open an activity. In the Memios™ library, tap an activity's name or About this activity. In My activities, tap About. You see what it is, when to stop and get help, what to check first if you have a condition, what can go wrong, how to do it step by step, how to start, a note for older adults, and what it does for you. Every benefit and risk shows how strong the evidence is and links to its sources. Tap an easier or harder version to open it.

Open a supplement or a medicine. Tap it. You see everything recorded on its label, and each ingredient opens into what it is, what goes wrong, what the studies support, what they tested and did not find, how much, and what it interacts with. Every finding quotes the words from its source so you can check them.

The studies decide, not the agencies. Supplement ingredients and medicines are written up from the research itself, and more are added every week. Every finding tells you what kind of study it was, how sure the researchers were, how many people took part and what happened. What a government body or a professional society says sits in its own section at the end. Where the sources disagree, you see both sides.

We do not tell you what dose to take. Under each ingredient you get three separate things: the reference intake a named body publishes for a population, the level at which harm becomes the question, and the doses the trials used. A number aimed at you personally would be medical advice. What is right for you is a conversation with your clinician.

Where we know nothing, it says so. An ingredient nobody has written up appears in the list and says so.

Paste the label. Paste a Supplement Facts panel into a product with nothing recorded and the list fills straight away. If the list already has rows, you choose whether to replace them or add to them.

Every save tells you if it failed. Supplements, medicines and food all say when a save does not go through, and keep what you entered so you do not type it twice.

Add food from your own recipes and ingredients. Tap Add food next to your day. Under the box where you type what you ate is a search over everything you have saved. Tap to add, set the amount, and add as many as you like. Each one is logged on its own, carries its real numbers and counts toward your day. Anything you only describe in words carries no numbers.

Scanned labels match your serving. Food databases publish nutrition per 100 grams, and we convert that to the serving on the package. If a saved ingredient reads check the serving in My Ingredients, open it to see the figures for your serving and correct it in one tap.

Check the label before you save. Above every nutrition panel is a note asking you to check the numbers against the package in your hand. Makers change recipes without changing the barcode, the USDA copy we hold is a dated snapshot, and Open Food Facts is typed in by shoppers. Your saved version is the one we count.

What your plan includes. Some parts of myMemios come with certain Reclaim™ plans. Anything not on your plan still shows, with a small padlock. Tap it to see what it is and which plan includes it. Anything that keeps you safe is on every plan including the free one: your allergies, conditions, medicines and supplements, how you eat, your symptoms, your whole health record, correcting a reading, and taking your record to your doctor.

Upgrading takes a minute. Tap Upgrade now on a locked feature, or open Offers. Payment is handled by Stripe and your plan changes as soon as it goes through.

The check-in asks two things. How you feel, and your energy. Symptoms, weight, sleep, water and your gut each have their own card underneath. Each one saves the moment you log it.

Change when something happened. Under everything you log is a line reading Recorded today at 7:30 AM. Tap it to set the real date and time.

Record what you actually did. Tap the name of anything on your day and the boxes for it open: minutes and distance for a walk, sets, reps and weight for a bench press. The time you set under Log it as is the time we record.

Your day in one place. Today and your Schedule show the same day: your plan, your food, supplements, medicines and appointments, sorted by time of day.

"Gluten free" means no gluten. The allergy alarm reads what you wrote, including gluten free, dairy free, no nuts, without egg and non-dairy. If anything you wrote still names the thing you avoid, you are warned.

2. Getting started

Back to the index

You sign in with your email or, once your number is added, a code by text. There is no password. Then you answer a short set of questions, and myMemios builds your first plan.

  1. Go to memios.ai and choose Sign in, or open your myMemios link.
  2. Enter your email and choose Continue.
  3. Open the email from Memios and tap the link. Use the same device and browser.
  4. You are signed in. Next time, repeat these steps. There is no password to remember.

Sign in by text

Once your mobile number is on your account, you can sign in with a 6-digit code by text instead of opening an email.

Add your number, once:

  1. Sign in with your email link.
  2. Open Account, then Sign in by text.
  3. Enter your US mobile number and tap Text me a code.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from the text and tap Confirm number.

Sign in with a code:

  1. On the sign-in screen, tap Text me a code instead.
  2. Enter your mobile number and tap Text me a code.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code and tap Sign in.

Text sign-in only opens an account that already has your number. A number that is not on an account does not create a new one. You are asked to sign in by email and add the number first. Your email sign-in always keeps working. To stop text sign-in, open Account, then Sign in by text, and tap Remove this number.

  1. Enter your first name.
  2. Choose your units: US (lb, mi, ft) or Metric (kg, km, cm). You can change this later in Account.
  3. Read and tick your consents. Two are required: the Terms of Service, and consent to collect your health data. Three are your choice: sharing your health data with Healthie, the care platform your Memios specialists use, and with any doctor you choose to send your Report to, offers from Memios, and text message reminders.
  4. Choose Continue.

Your first questions

One question shows at a time. They build your 7-day plan and your fitness estimate.

  • About you: age, gender, weight, height.
  • How you move: how active you are, days you exercise, how you are moving around, areas to protect (knees, back, shoulders, balance).
  • What you want: your main goal and the days a week you can commit.
  • How you eat: your eating pattern and any dietary needs.
  • Optional numbers from your watch: VO2 max, your steps a day (your average for the last 7 days), and your highest heart rate over 7 days. Skip any you do not know. Tap the i beside VO2 max to see where to find it.
  • A safety check before your plan.

When you finish, you see Your plan: your current snapshot, your 12-month potential and your 7-day plan.

3. Daily check-in and your day

Back to the index

A daily check-in is the fastest way to keep your record current. You can do it once a day, or skip a day.

Do your check-in

The check-in asks two questions and nothing else. Your symptoms, weight, sleep, water and gut each have their own card underneath, and each one saves the moment you log it.

  1. Open Home and tap Check-in, the second card, just under What's Next.
  2. Tap a face for How do you feel? (left is low, right is great).
  3. Tap a number for Energy today, 1 low to 5 high.
  4. Choose Save check-in. That records how you feel and your energy.

Weight, sleep, symptoms and water

Each of these is a card of its own below the check-in, and each one keeps what you log the moment you log it.

CardWhat it does
SymptomsThe ones you follow, with a 0 to 10 scale and one question that suits each. Logs as soon as you save that symptom
WeightShows your last reading and when, for example Last 235 lb, 3 days ago. Tap it to open your weight history. Type today's and choose Log. The box starts empty on purpose, so a number from Tuesday is never recorded as today's
SleepShows your last night in hours and minutes. Tap it to open your sleep history. Enter hours and minutes, with what that adds up to underneath, and choose Log
WaterOne tap logs 8 oz. Other amount for a different pour
Gut MicrobiomeYour bowel movements today, in one line. Tap it to open Gut Microbiome. Add a bowel movement, set the time, choose what it was like, and tap Save. Or None today, then Save

Everything you log carries a date and a time you can change. Under each one is a line reading Recorded today at 7:30 AM, or whatever it says. Tap it and the date and time open for editing. If you walk in the morning and log it at nine at night, change the time and it is recorded as a morning walk, which is what your trends should show. The same line is on every activity you tick off on Today and on the Schedule.

Weight and sleep go into the same history as everything else you have ever recorded.

The card tells you when today is already done, and Your record at the top right opens everything you have ever reported.

Read your check-ins back

Everything you check in goes two places: into your trends, and into your record.

  1. Open Reports, then Your check-in record. Or tap Your record on the check-in card itself.
  2. Days are listed newest first, by name. Tap one to open it.
  3. An open day shows how you felt, your energy, your weight, your sleep, every symptom you logged with the time of each, and your water for that day.
  4. Tap a symptom in that day to open its own history, where you can change the entry.

The card at the top counts three things: how many check-ins you have logged, how many days in a row you have checked in, and how many of the last 30 days carry a check-in. Copy or Email sends the whole record as plain text, which is a reasonable thing to bring to an appointment.

A day where you logged water or a symptom but did not check in still appears, marked No check-in, because it is part of your record. It does not count toward your run of days.

Gut Microbiome

Tap the Gut Microbiome card on Home, or Gut Microbiome in the shortcuts. Dashboard at the top takes you back.

Record today.

  1. Tap Add a bowel movement.
  2. Check What time was it? It starts at now. If it was this morning, change it before the next step.
  3. Choose what it was like: Hard lumps, Lumpy and firm, Soft and formed, Mushy or loose or Watery.
  4. Do it again for each one. Tap one to change its time, or tap its cross to remove it.
  5. On a day with none, tap None today. A day you leave blank shows as not recorded, which is different from none.
  6. For Bloating, Gas, Straining and Urgency, tap None, Mild, Moderate or Severe. Tap it again to clear it.
  7. Tap Save. The card folds into a summary of your day, and Change opens it again. Cancel puts back what you last saved.

Your week. Seven days side by side, each showing how many times you went and whether it was hard, normal, loose or mixed. Tap any day to fill it in or change it. The arrows move a week back or forward. Fewer than three bowel movements a week is part of how constipation is defined.

What you ate and took this week. The same seven days, with the food you logged and the medicines and supplements you marked as taken. When our research library records something you took as causing constipation or diarrhea, it carries a flag. Under What the research records you see the finding, the words quoted from its source, and a link to the source. This is not a diagnosis, and it does not mean that is the cause. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before you stop or change any medicine.

Learn about your gut. Eighteen topics written from the studies, including good and bad gut bacteria, your gut after antibiotics, leaky gut, after a colonoscopy, fermented foods, fibre, SIBO, H. pylori, IBS, and what causes constipation and what helps. Every finding quotes its source.

Probiotics, prebiotics and fibre. What the studies show for each one, with the risks first.

Track a symptom

The Symptoms card under the check-in is where you keep an eye on anything that bothers you: constipation, trouble sleeping, pain, and thirty-three more.

  1. Tap Track a symptom. That opens the symptom tracker, with the ones you already follow at the top and a search box for the rest. Star one and it stays in your check-in from then on.
  2. Tap its name to open it. You get a 0 to 10 scale and one more question that suits that symptom: how many nights this week for trouble sleeping, worst pain in the last 24 hours for pain.
  3. Check the date and time. They start at now. Change them if you are recording this morning rather than this minute.
  4. Tap Log it. Saving from the tracker brings you back to the tracker, so you can see the entry you just made.

Each symptom shows your last reading and whether it has really moved. A one-point change is noise, so we call that about the same rather than telling you something got worse.

The full tracker has more questions for each symptom and your whole history. Tap the link at the top of the section, or see section 11.

Your day, in one list

Today is the card under your check-in. It holds everything for today in one list, sorted by time of day: what your plan asks of you, your food, your supplements, your medicines and your appointments.

  1. Find the item under its time of day.
  2. Tap each one as you finish it. A tick saves right away.
  3. For the whole week, open What's Next and tap Your whole plan.

A workout your plan does not give a time to lands in Morning, so it has a place in your day. Anything with a time keeps that time. A workout looks the same whether the system built your plan, a coach wrote it, or you did.

Your food sits inside Today, in the part of the day you ate it, with your own words and the meal it belongs to. A meal has no tick, because you have already eaten it.

Tips

  • Weigh at the same time each day, before breakfast, for the clearest trend.
  • A weight you type on a day Apple Health also has one still counts. The newer reading is the one your goals use.

Log water

Water is on the Check-in page, under your symptoms.

  1. Tap Log 8 oz for a usual glass.
  2. Tap Other amount for a different pour. Type the ounces, or tap one of 8, 12, 16, 20 or 32.
  3. The bar shows your day against your target, which starts at 64 oz and is yours to change.
  4. Tapped by mistake? Undo removes the last one.

Your target is a target you set. We do not print a recommended daily amount, because the eight-glasses rule is not research, and the real reference figures depend on your size, the heat and what you are doing.

4. Your schedule

Back to the index

Anything you take or do can go on a day. Your schedule then shows what is due, you tick it off, and it is logged for you.

Put something on your schedule

  1. Open the thing you want to schedule: an ingredient or recipe under Food, an item or bundle under Supplements, Medications or Activity.
  2. Tap the calendar button beside it.
  3. Choose how often it repeats.
  4. Choose when in the day. Pick a time of day, such as Morning, or a set time such as 7:15 AM. Add another time for a second dose.
  5. Choose when it starts, and whether it ever ends.
  6. Tap Add to my schedule.

How often it can repeat

Every day. Every other day, or every few days. Weekdays. Weekends. Certain days of the week. Every other week on the days you choose. Monthly on set dates, or on the third Tuesday, or the last Friday. Every few months. Once a year. A cycle, such as 21 days on and 7 days off. Or as needed, which never shows as due and is there for the things you take only when you need them.

You can also end it on a date, or after a number of times.

See your day

Open Schedule. Move between days with the arrows, and tap Back to today to return.

Your day holds three things, and the Schedule screen shows all of them. Anything you scheduled yourself, the items from your plan, and the food you logged. It is the same day the Today card on your home screen shows, so the two can never tell you different things. Your plan appears on today, because a plan is worked out for the day you are in, and the food is there as a record of what you ate rather than as something to tick.

Under anything you have not ticked off is "Log it as". That is the date and time that will be recorded when you do tick it. Tap it to change them first if you did the thing earlier, then tick. It does not appear on anything already done.

Record what you actually did

Tap the name of anything on your day and the boxes for it open. A walk asks for minutes and distance. A bench press asks for sets, reps and weight. A stretch asks for sets and how long you held it. Fill in what you did, then tick it off, and it is logged with those numbers rather than as a bare "done".

The boxes match the thing. We ask for what that kind of activity is measured in, and when we do not know what something is measured in we ask for nothing rather than guessing. That is why "Add a palm of protein at breakfast" has a tick and no boxes. There is nothing to type.

You can add the numbers after you have ticked it off. Tick first and fill in the boxes later if that suits you better. Tap the name, type what you did, and choose Save these. It updates the entry rather than recording the walk twice.

The name and the pencil do different jobs. Tapping the name records what happened. The pencil beside it changes the schedule: how often it repeats, and when. Neither one is hidden behind the other.

Show by switches the day between:

  • Time of Day: Early Morning, Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Evening and Bed Time.
  • Hours: the clock, showing only the hours that hold something.

Your choice is remembered for that day.

Tick things off

  • The tick marks it done, and logs it. A walk logs the distance you set. A dose logs the dose. A recipe logs a serving.
  • The cross marks it skipped for that day only. It comes back on its next day. Nothing is logged, and nothing counts as missed. A day you decided against is a decision, not a failure.

Today's list also sits on your dashboard, so the things you have left show without opening the Schedule.

Open a bundle

Tap a bundle on the day and it opens in place. Each thing inside has its own boxes, such as sets, reps and weight for a squat, or minutes and distance for a walk, and its own tick. Fill in what you did as you go. When everything inside is ticked or skipped, you are offered one button to finish the bundle.

Change something that repeats

Tap the pencil on a row, make your change, then tap Next. You are asked how much should change:

  • Just this day. Only that date changes.
  • This day and everything after. The old schedule ends the day before, and a new one starts from this date. What you already did stays as it was.
  • The whole schedule. Every date changes, including days already past.

To change or remove something, tap the pencil beside it, on the Schedule screen or on Today.

  • Stop from this day ends it from the day you are looking at. Earlier days still show it.
  • Delete removes it from every day. You are asked to confirm first. Anything you already logged stays in your history.

What Scores lists

Tap Scores on Home and you get, in order:

  1. Return to Wellness Score. The product. Everything affecting your health today, and a private Report you own.
  2. Base Score. The free assessment that builds your plan.
  3. What we measure. Every measure we take, grouped by what it measures: endurance, strength, flexibility, mobility and gait, balance, nutrition status, body composition, cognition, mood and body region.

Tap a group to see what is in it. Some are recorded by a clinician or coach, and some you can do yourself.

Flexibility is new. It holds two measures. The chair sit-and-reach looks at your lower body and hamstrings: seated at the front edge of a chair with one leg out, you reach toward your toes, and the result is how far short of or past them you get. The back scratch looks at your shoulders: one hand over the shoulder and the other up your back, and the result is the gap between your fingertips.

Both come from the Senior Fitness Test, which was normed on 7,183 adults aged 60 to 94. Those comparisons are for older adults in general and not for cancer survivors specifically, because nobody has published that yet, and we would rather say so than let you read a number as more exact than it is.

The back scratch is a quick look, not a measurement of your shoulder. After breast or chest surgery your range of motion is measured properly with a goniometer, which is a separate measure in the Body region group.

Fitness questions and your VO2 max estimate

VO2 max is how much oxygen your body uses at full effort. It is one of the strongest single signs of long-term health.

  1. On Home, find Your assessment. It tells you when you last answered and when you are next due. We ask again every 30 days.
  2. Choose Retake assessment and answer each question.
  3. If your watch measures VO2 max, enter it. If not, we estimate it from your age, sex, weight, height, resting heart rate and activity, using a published equation (Jurca 2005).
  4. Open Plan to see your fitness level against the FRIEND registry for your age and sex (Kaminsky 2015), and your 12-month potential.

If you import Apple Health, your watch's VO2 max readings replace the estimate on your dashboard.

The Return to Wellness Score

The Return to Wellness Score is a one-time purchase of $99. It gives you three things: a picture of everything affecting your health today, a private Report you own, and the myMemios app to track it.

Before you start

  • Your answers save one at a time. Stop whenever you like and come back on any device.
  • Keep nearby: your pill bottles or pharmacy app, your patient portal, and any discharge papers. Tap Where do I find this? on a question for help.
  • Anything myMemios already holds is filled in for you to confirm: medications and supplements, goals, weight, height and Apple Health records. You never type it twice.

How to take it

  1. On Home, open Return to Wellness Score.
  2. You see a list of sections: About you, Today's safety check, Your goals, Your records, Health history, Medications and supplements, Symptoms, Everyday activities, Mood and memory, Movement tests.
  3. Tap a section. Answer one question per screen.
  4. For a question we already have an answer to, choose This is right, or change it and choose Save my changes.
  5. Not sure? Choose I don't know or Skip for now. Both save, and you can come back.
  6. When you are ready, go back to the section list and choose See my Report. You can also choose Finish with what I have. That Report lists what is missing.

Your goals in the Score

  • Your targets shows the goals you already set, with today's value beside each. Keep each target or change it. For VO2 max, we suggest where the next fitness level starts for your age and sex.
  • What do you want to be able to do? asks for a goal in your own words, such as "garden without back pain". Add why it matters to you. Then rate how easy it is today (0 means you can't do it at all, 10 means easy), how important it is, and how sure you are. We show what we heard, and you confirm or edit each line.

Today's safety check

If you report a sign of an emergency, the Score tells you to call 911 and waits. If you report something your care team should see today, the Score tells you to contact them. Your answers stay saved for when you return.

Movement tests

The movement tests are part of the Score. Do them only with a helper beside you.

Set up: a sturdy chair against a wall, a counter within reach, and a 13-foot (4-meter) walking path. Do not do the tests if you feel dizzy or unwell today.

TestHowYour helper
4-meter walkWalk 13 feet at your usual paceTaps Start, then Stop at the line
30-second chair standArms crossed, stand up fully and sit down, as many times as you canTaps Start the clock, then taps once per full stand
4-Stage BalanceHold each position 10 seconds: feet together, one foot slightly ahead, one foot directly ahead, one footChooses the last position you held

Stop any test for pain, dizziness or chest symptoms. Tap Stop, I don't want to do this one. Skipping a test is fine.

The tests come from the CDC STEADI program. Your results are compared with published results for people your age and sex.

Your Report

Your Report opens with Where to go next, one clear next step and the reason. Then:

  1. What you told us you want to get back to.
  2. Your eight areas: endurance, strength, mobility, balance, nutrition, weight for height, memory and thinking, mood. Each shows a plain band, such as "Within the usual range", and what it was built from.
  3. What changed since your last Score.
  4. What to discuss with your doctor, in six parts: warning signs you reported, everyday activities that are harder now, your symptoms, clearance for recommended activities, questions to ask, and your medications. Print this page and take it to your appointment.
  5. What is missing, and where the measures come from.

Use Print at the top of the Report. Clinician view shows the same Report in the format a doctor reads.

Taking the Score again

Each purchase is one Score. When you take it again, everything you told us last time and everything in myMemios is filled in for you to confirm. The Report opens with what changed.

Specialist assessments

A Memios specialist can measure what the app cannot. Book from Offers.

  • Exercise Assessment: a physical assessment and health history review with an Exercise Specialist or a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. You need it before 1:1 exercise sessions.
  • Nutrition Assessment: a full assessment with a Registered Dietitian.
  • Metabolic Assessment: a telehealth medical assessment with a licensed prescriber, for medical weight management.

Current prices are on the Offers page.

6. Goals

Back to the index

Every goal has one live number, and you choose where that number comes from. The dashboard, the Food page, your graphs and the Score all use it.

The goals you can track

GroupGoals
Body compositionBody fat, lean body mass, waist, weight
Fitness and activityExercise minutes, steps, VO2 max
Sleep and recoverySleep
MacronutrientsAdded sugar, calories, carbohydrate, fat, fiber, protein, saturated fat, sodium
MicronutrientsCalcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc

Set or change a goal

  1. Open Goals.
  2. Tap a goal.
  3. Read Where you are now and the recommendation with Where this comes from. Every recommendation names its source.
  4. Choose where your number comes from:
    • Memios Recommendation: calculated from your profile and the published research.
    • Coach's Recommendation: set by your Memios specialist.
    • Personal Preference: type Your own number.
    • Not Set: hidden from your dashboard and Food page.
  5. If the goal needs something we do not have yet, such as your height, One more thing asks for it once and saves it to your profile.

Your VO2 max goal

We suggest where the next fitness level starts for your age and sex, based on the FRIEND registry. For example, a 59-year-old man at 39.2 is "Good". The next level, "Strong", starts at 39.7, so we suggest 39.7. Already at the top level? We suggest keeping your current value. Accept the suggestion or choose your own.

See your progress

  • Home → Goals shows each goal, today's value and how far you have to go.
  • Under each goal name, a small line says where today's value came from and when, for example "7-night average · Apple Health · Sep 15".
  • On a history graph, your goal is a dashed line.

7. Activity and exercise

Back to the index

Your plan tells you what to do each day. Apple Health records what you did. Your reports show both.

Tell us what you can get to

Go to Account → Preferences → What you do.

Two questions, and they do different things.

What can you get to is a list of places and equipment. A pool, weights, a bike, a court. We will never suggest something you have not ticked. If you have no pool, you will not be offered swimming again.

What do you already do only changes the order. Things you do come first. Nothing disappears because you left it unticked, because plenty of people want to try something they have never done.

Two switches run the list. Hide what I cannot get to keeps it to what you can reach. Show everything, including what I cannot get to puts the rest back, so nothing is hidden for good.

At home with no equipment is always on and cannot be turned off. A chair, a wall and a bit of floor are enough for a surprising amount, and everybody has them.

You can change your answers whenever they change. Joining a gym or getting a bike should take about ten seconds to record.

If you have not answered yet

You see everything. We would rather show you the whole library than quietly narrow it because you have not found a settings screen.

Worth adding at some point

Once you have answered, that screen may show a short list of things you are not doing. There are only three on it, and they are the three that matter most after fifty: strength work, something that gets you breathing harder, and balance.

It is not a telling off, and it never suggests something you cannot reach. If you have no equipment, the way into strength work is standing up out of a chair.

Follow your 7-day plan

  1. Open Plan.
  2. At the top, read Your current snapshot (VO2 max, average steps a day, max heart rate) and Your 12-month potential.
  3. Choose Exercise or Nutrition.
  4. Tap a day, 1 to 7. You see that day's focus and each activity with how to do it.
  5. If an activity is too much today, use the Gentler option under it.
  6. Read Tips for success at the bottom.

Your plan is built from your answers: your main goal, how you are moving around, areas to protect, and the days a week you can commit. Retake the fitness questions and your plan updates.

Tick off what you did

On Home, tap each item in Today's plan as you finish it. Reports → Exercise activity shows the days you completed.

Steps, exercise minutes and workouts

Import Apple Health (section 12) and these fill in on their own:

MeasureWhat you see
StepsDaily bars, counted once across your watch, phone and apps
Exercise minutesDaily bars of Apple exercise minutes
Workout minutesDaily bars from the workouts your watch recorded
Walking and running distance, flights climbed, active energyDaily bars
Walking speed, walking steadiness, stair speedDaily values over time

Open any of them from Reports → Your Apple Health data, or add them to your dashboard.

How much is enough

The Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans advise adults to get 150 to 300 minutes a week of moderate activity, plus muscle strengthening on 2 or more days. Adults over 65 should add balance activities. Talk with your doctor before starting a new program.

Your activities, and bundles

Activity works the way Food does.

  • My activities holds your own. Each one is yours to edit, to log, or to schedule.
  • Bundles group activities you do together. Leg Day holds squats, leg curls and calf raises. Schedule the bundle and tick off each exercise on the day.
  • Memios library holds 322 researched activities in 13 categories, each with how to do it, what it helps, and what to watch for. They stay as they are, so tap Copy to mine and your copy is yours to change.
  • Open any activity to read about it. Tap its name or About this activity in the library, or About in My activities. The details open under it, in this order: what it is, when to stop and get help, what to check first if you have a condition, what can go wrong, how to do it, how to start, a note for older adults, what it does for you, and easier and harder versions. Each benefit and risk shows how strong the evidence is and names its sources, with a link to read each one. Tap Hide details to close it.
  • A copy keeps its write-up. An activity you copied from the library shows the library's full details. One you made yourself shows the description you gave it.
  • The library opens as a list of categories. Strength, Aerobic, Interval, Power, Balance, Flexibility, Mind and body, Mind and spirit, Water, Sport, Outdoors, Everyday and Recovery. Each one says how many it holds. Tap the arrow beside a category to open it and see every activity in it, and tap it again to close it. You can have as many open at once as you like.
  • Nothing is cut off. An open category shows all of its activities, not the first few.
  • Every activity type has its own icon. Lists are sorted by type and then by name, and read Aerobic: Jogging.
  • Searching takes you straight to the answer. Type a word in the box above and it searches every category at once. You get one list of every activity that matched, with a line saying how many were found. Each row names its category, as in Recovery: Vibration plate squats. Clear the box to see every category again.

To build a bundle

  1. Open Activity, then Bundles.
  2. Name it, for example Leg Day.
  3. Tap the activities to put in it.
  4. Tap Create bundle, then the calendar button to put it on your week.

To log what you did, tap Log beside an activity and fill in what fits it: sets, reps and weight for strength, minutes and distance for a walk.

The library also holds mind and spirit practices, such as meditation, prayer, scripture reading, gratitude, journaling and time in nature. They are tracked like anything else, and they do not count toward your movement minutes, because they are not movement.

8. Nutrition

Back to the index

The Food page is where you log what you eat and see today's totals against your goals. Every food is rated against your own diet and allergies.

The fastest way to log something

You do not have to open the Food page at all.

On your home screen, next to your day, is Add food.

  1. Tap Add food.
  2. Type what you ate or drank, in your own words. "A salmon sandwich on a gluten free bun with a side of french fries" is a complete entry. So is "3 egg omelet with bacon and cheddar cheese".
  3. Or add from your own food. Search your recipes and ingredients, tap one to add it, and set the amount and the unit. Add as many as you like, and tap the bin on any of them to take it back off.
  4. Take a picture if you want one. Often faster than typing, and it is there when you look back.
  5. Check the day, the time and the meal. We fill these in from the clock, so something logged at seven in the evening goes in dinner. Change any of them.
  6. Tap Save.

You can do both in one go. Describe the bits you have no record of, pick the ones you do, and it all lands on the same meal at the same time. Each food you picked is saved as its own entry, so you can change or remove one of them later without touching the rest.

We do not guess the nutrition. We keep your words and your photo, and we leave the numbers empty, because nothing on that screen told us what was in it. A guessed calorie count would end up in your trends and eventually in a report your doctor reads, with nothing on it saying a machine invented it.

Anything you pick from your own food is different. Those numbers came off a label you checked, so they count toward your day straight away.

Your day's total tells you when it is missing items, so you always know whether you are looking at your whole day or part of it.

Adding the detail later

Take the picture at the table. Add the numbers when you get home.

After you save, we ask whether you want to add the detail. Say yes and we open the Food page with your words, the day and the time already filled in, so nothing is typed twice. Or tap Done for now and come back to it whenever.

Open the entry and you see your photo and your words, with the nutrition shown empty rather than as zeros, because a description carries no numbers until you add them.

When you finish it, the detail is added to the same entry. Your words stay, your photo stays, the time you actually ate stays, and the numbers arrive. You never end up with the same meal logged twice, and it starts counting toward your day.

Set your diet and allergies first

Your ratings are only as good as your preferences.

  1. Open Food and tap the Diet preferences link.
  2. Choose any diets you follow, such as Mediterranean, DASH (heart-healthy), low sodium, diabetic-friendly, gluten-free, kosher or halal. Tap the i beside one to read what it means.
  3. Under Major allergens, mark each one as Allergy or Prefer not.
  4. Add Other sensitivities and Things you would rather not eat.
  5. Choose Save preferences.

Log a food

  1. Open Food, then Foods.
  2. Type in Search by name, for example "greek yogurt". Or tap Scan barcode and point your camera at the package.
  3. Tap the food. Check the nutrition per serving.
  4. Enter the Amount and Unit, choose the Meal (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snack), and check the Date and Time.
  5. Add a Meal photo if you like, then save.
  6. Tap the star on any food to keep it at the top of your list.

Add your own ingredient

Use this for something not in the food list, such as a local product.

  1. Open Food → Ingredients → Add Ingredient.

  2. Enter the Name and the Brand. Leave Brand empty for a generic food such as raw spinach.

  3. Enter the Serving, and the Barcode or SKU if it has one.

  4. Fill in the nutrition. The boxes are in the order a food label prints them, so you can read straight down the package:

    • Calories
    • Total Fat, with Saturated Fat and Trans Fat indented under it
    • Cholesterol
    • Sodium
    • Total Carbohydrate, with Dietary Fiber, Total Sugars and Added Sugars under it
    • Protein
  5. Below that are Vitamins and minerals: Vitamin D, Calcium, Iron and Potassium first, because a US label has to carry those four, then Magnesium, Zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin B12. If we already hold them the boxes are filled and you can correct them. If we do not, the screen says so and you can type them off the package.

  6. Add photos of the Front of package and the Nutrition label, then save. Saving takes you back to My Ingredients.

Leave a box empty if you do not know it. Empty is not zero. A blank trans fat means nobody measured it. A zero means somebody did and it was zero. We keep those apart, because a food that looks clean because nothing was measured is not the same as a food that is clean.

File it your way. Pick a Type and a Sub-Type, then give it your own name. It reads as Candy - Chocolate - M&Ms Peanut, and your list sorts that way. Both are optional.

Share it with other members. Open one of your own ingredients or recipes and tap Share with other members. Your copy stays yours. What you share is a snapshot, marked so other members can see it came from a member rather than from the USDA database, and somebody at Memios™ reads it before it reaches anyone.

Check the label before you save

Above the nutrition boxes, on both the add screen and the edit screen, is a line asking you to check the numbers against the package in your hand and then save it to My Ingredients. It is worth the twenty seconds, for three reasons:

  • Makers change recipes and serving sizes without changing the barcode.
  • The USDA copy we hold is a snapshot taken on a date, not a live feed.
  • Open Food Facts, which fills the gaps, is typed in by shoppers rather than verified by anyone.

Your saved version is the one we count, so a correction you make there is the number that goes into your day and into your Report.

When the package prints only a percentage. Small packages often give a nutrient as a percent Daily Value and no amount. Type the percentage into the %DV box beside that nutrient and we turn it into an amount, with the range it really covers, since the label rounds the percentage.

When an ingredient says "check the serving"

If one of your saved ingredients reads check the serving in My Ingredients, its numbers are for 100 grams rather than for the serving on the package.

  1. Open Food → Ingredients and look for the note at the top saying how many are affected.
  2. Open one. It shows you what it currently holds and what the numbers should be, including the calories.
  3. Check them against the packet.
  4. Tap Use the serving figures to accept them, or Enter them myself if the package says something different again.

Nothing is corrected without you looking at it, because you are the one holding the package and we are not.

Read an ingredient rating

Each food carries a chip:

RatingMeaning
GoodFits your diets and has no flags
OKFits, with something to watch
BadConflicts with a diet you follow, or matches an allergy
Not checkedWe could not identify all the ingredients

Tap the chip to see why, and for alternatives when a food is Bad. When two of your diets disagree, the stricter one wins. An allergy match is always Bad. A rating never stops you logging a food.

See today's totals

Food → Today shows today's nutrition totals, by meal, against the nutrition goals you have switched on. To change a target, open Goals (section 5).

What you can edit, and what you copy

  • Your own ingredients are yours. Tap Edit to change the name, brand, serving, barcode or any figure. Leave a box empty if you do not know it. Empty is not zero.
  • Memios ingredients stay as they are. They are shared with every member. Tap Copy and edit and you get your own version, opened ready to change.
  • Foods from the USDA and Open Food Facts database are published data, so they work the same way. Star one to keep it, and your copy is yours.

Memios ingredients is a tab under Ingredients, beside My Ingredients and Search Foods.

Put food on your schedule

Tap Schedule on one of your ingredients, or on one of your recipes, to put it on a day. Ticking it off on the Schedule logs it the same as logging it here.

9. Recipes

Back to the index

A recipe adds up the nutrition of everything in it, so you log a whole meal in one step. A recipe can include ingredients, foods from the list, and other recipes.

Build a recipe

  1. Open Food → Recipes → Add Recipe.
  2. Enter a Name, for example "Breakfast bowl".
  3. Under Add ingredient or recipe, search My Ingredients, or use Or search the full food list. Your supplements are in the list too, for a scoop of protein powder in a smoothie. A supplement saved without nutrition shows as unknown in the recipe's total, not as zero.
  4. For each item, enter the Amount and Unit. The amount starts at that food's own serving.
  5. Set Makes: how many servings the whole recipe makes, for example 4 servings.
  6. Watch the nutrition total update as you add items, then save.

Each item keeps its rating, so a recipe with an ingredient that conflicts with your diet shows that flag.

Log a serving

  1. Open Food → Recipes → My Recipes or Memios Recipes.
  2. Tap the recipe.
  3. Enter how much you ate, for example 1 serving or 1/2 cup.
  4. Choose the meal, date and time, then save. The nutrition is worked out from the servings the recipe makes.

Change a recipe

  1. Tap a recipe and choose Edit recipe.
  2. Remove an ingredient, or swap a flagged ingredient for a suggested alternative.
  3. Choose how to keep the change:
    • Update this recipe: changes your recipe from now on.
    • Save as a new recipe: keeps the original and saves your version under a New recipe name.
    • Just this once: uses the change for this meal only.

Memios Recipes belong to Memios, so you cannot overwrite them. Save your own copy instead.

10. Medications and supplements

Back to the index

Keep one list of what you take. The Return to Wellness Score and your doctor page read from it, so you never enter it twice.

Add a medication or supplement

  1. From Home, open Medications or Supplements.
  2. Open the Medications or Supplements tab.
  3. Enter the Name, for example Metformin or Vitamin D3.
  4. Fill in what you know:
    • Medications: Dose, Unit (mg, mcg, mL, units and more), Form (tablet, capsule, liquid, injection, inhaler and more), Directions such as "once daily with food", Used for, Prescriber, Pharmacy, Pickup date and Expiration date.
    • Supplements: Brand, Serving amount, Serving unit (capsule, scoop, mg, IU and more) and Form (capsule, tablet, softgel, gummy, powder, liquid and more).
  5. Add photos of the front of the package and the Rx label or supplement facts, if you like.
  6. Choose Save medication or Save supplement.

Open a product and read what is in it

Tap the name of any supplement or medicine in your list.

You get everything recorded on its label, and under each ingredient a line that says how many findings there are, how many point each way, and the strongest kind of study behind them. Tap The good, the bad, and how much to open it.

Inside, in this order:

  • What goes wrong. Side effects, injuries, interactions and contamination the studies found. This comes first on purpose.
  • What is known. A plain summary.
  • What the evidence supports.
  • What the evidence does not support. Trials that looked for a benefit and did not find one. This is as useful to you as a positive result.
  • Where the evidence is mixed.
  • Where the sources disagree. Both sides, as each one puts it. We do not pick a winner.
  • How much. Explained below.
  • What official bodies say. A government agency or a professional society, with who holds the view. A view is not a study, so it comes last.
  • Sources. Every study and page, with a link.

Tap any ingredient name. Every name on the label opens its own page, whether or not it is written up. The page answers nine questions, each from the studies with its source:

  • What is it?
  • What does it do in the body?
  • Is it good or bad for you?
  • How do you get more of it?
  • If it is harmful, what reduces it?
  • Why might someone be low in it or missing it?
  • Which whole foods contain it or feed it?
  • What happens if you do not have it?
  • How can you test for it?

Where the studies do not answer a question, the page says so and names where we looked. Below the answers is the full write-up.

The allergen statement comes first. If the label says "Contains" or "May contain", that is the first thing on the page. Other ingredients, such as fillers and capsule material, have their own list. Every one of them is checked against the allergies in your health record.

How to read a finding. Each one tells you the kind of study and how sure the researchers were. A review of reviews or a systematic review looks across many studies. A randomized trial tests one thing against a comparison. A cohort study follows people and finds patterns, which shows things go together, not that one causes the other. Animal and lab studies tell you where to look next, not what happens in people. Under that you see how many people took part, for how long, what happened, and who paid for it where the paper says. The sentence in italics is copied word for word from the source.

Read this with care. Some published papers contain their own mistakes: a number that does not fit its own confidence range, or a unit that cannot be right. We quote the paper as written and add a note saying what is wrong with it. We never correct a paper silently, and we never repeat its mistake without flagging it.

Written mainly from agency summaries. A few ingredients draw mainly on government and agency summaries rather than the studies themselves, and they say so. Versions built from the studies are in progress.

We do not tell you what to take. The How much section gives you three separate things and keeps them separate:

  • Reference intake. What a named body publishes for a population, such as the Recommended Dietary Allowance. For most botanicals there is none, and it says so.
  • Where harm becomes the question. The Tolerable Upper Intake Level, or the Acceptable Daily Intake where one exists. Where a limit is published per kilogram of body weight, we convert it into milligrams beside what a typical capsule contains, because a limit you cannot hold against your own bottle is no use.
  • What trials actually gave people. With the trial.

Hold your own label against those three. A number aimed at you personally would be medical advice, and Memios does not give medical advice.

If it says nobody has written it up yet, that is the truth. We would rather say so than show you an empty section that reads as nothing to worry about.

If the product itself is empty, there is nothing to explain. Open it, paste the Supplement Facts panel off the label, and everything in it is read into the list.

Open a medicine

Tap the name of any medicine in your Medications list. We look it up by the name you gave it, so "Lisinopril 10 mg", "Zestril" and "lisinopril" all find the same write-up.

In this order:

  • TLDR, the most important facts in a few lines. Below it is the full write-up.
  • FDA boxed warning, if the label has one. The strongest warning the FDA puts on a drug label. You see the sentences copied word for word from the label, with a link to it.
  • What it is, and the answers to the nine questions, each with its source.
  • The good, the bad, and what it is taken with. Tap it to open:
    • What goes wrong. Harms the studies and the label record.
    • Named with it in the research. Other medicines, supplements, food and alcohol, each with what the source says and the sentence it rests on.
    • Stopping it. What the label and the studies say happens when it stops.
    • What is known. A plain summary.
    • What it is used for. Approved uses, and uses a prescriber may choose without FDA approval for them, called off-label.
    • How it works.
    • What the evidence supports, does not support and where it is mixed, then Where the sources disagree.
    • Dose. What the label says and what the trials gave people. Your dose is set by the person who prescribed it.
    • Sources.

If a medicine says Not written up yet, check the spelling against your bottle, or use the generic name.

Never start, stop or change a medicine without your prescriber. Memios does not give medical advice.

Taken together

The Taken together card sits on both your Medications and Supplements screens. It lists each pair of things you take that the research names together: a medicine and a supplement, or two medicines. Each pair shows what the source says, how strong the evidence is, and a link. Tap Show the quotes to read the sentences it rests on.

A pair can match by name, such as St John's wort, or by group. A source that names "NSAIDs" matches your ibuprofen, and the card says so.

The card checks only medicines that are written up, and tells you how many of yours that covers. A pair that is not listed is not proof it is safe. Ask your prescriber or pharmacist.

Log a dose

  1. Find the item in your list.
  2. Tap Log. It appears under Today.

When you stop taking something

  1. Find the item in your list.
  2. Tap Stopped. It moves to the Stopped list with today's date.
  3. Started again? Tap Taking again in the Stopped list.

Stopped items stay in your record, because your doctor may need to know what you took and when. Use the trash can only for something you added by mistake.

In the Return to Wellness Score

Your list appears for you to confirm. Tap I stopped this or Taking again, or add something new. Your changes update this list when you finish.

myMemios does not give advice about medications. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before you start, stop or change one.

Scan the barcode, and photograph the package

  1. Open Supplements or Medications, then the list tab.
  2. In the form, tap Scan the barcode and point your camera at it.
  3. The code fills in, and we look it up. If we find it, the name fills in too. Check it before saving.
  4. If the database has never seen it, the code is still saved. It identifies the exact bottle, which is what a pharmacy or your care team asks about.

Add photos of the front, the back, and the facts or Rx label. You can add or retake them later by tapping Edit on the item.

Edit, bundle and schedule

  • Edit changes the name, the dose or strength, the form, the directions, the barcode and the photos.
  • Bundles group what you take together, such as a morning stack. Log the whole bundle in one tap.
  • Food in a supplement bundle. Under From your food ingredients, tap a food, such as collagen peptides, to add it. When you tick the bundle, that food is logged as food and its nutrition counts toward your day.
  • Each row in a scheduled bundle starts with your dose, the amount and unit you saved on the product. The unit is a list. Change either before you tick it if today was different.
  • The calendar button puts an item or a bundle on your schedule, with whatever repeat fits, including as needed.

11. Symptoms

Back to the index

Record how a symptom is, so you can see its pattern and show your doctor. The tracker covers 36 symptoms, and every question and warning sign names its source.

Two places, one record. Your check-in on Home is the quick version, for every day: a 0 to 10 scale and one more question. The tracker is the full version, for when you want to give a symptom proper attention or look back over months. Anything you log in either shows up in both.

Find a symptom

  1. On Home, tap All symptoms at the top of the Symptoms card, or tap Track a symptom inside it.
  2. Search in your own words, for example "tired", "dizzy" or "heartburn". Or browse the groups: Pain · Energy and sleep · Stomach and digestion · Breathing and heart · Mood, memory and thinking · Nerves and balance · Skin, swelling and temperature · Bladder and pelvic · Other.
  3. Tap the star beside a symptom to track it. Tracked symptoms stay at the top, with your last rating and date.

Record how it is

  1. Tap the symptom.
  2. If you see Do any of these apply right now?, tick any that do. A warning sign tells you who to contact and how fast: call 911, contact your care team today, or tell your care team soon.
  3. Answer the first questions. How bad is it right now? runs from 0 (none) to 10 (worst you can imagine).
  4. Tap Add more detail for the rest: when it started, how long it lasts, where you feel it, what it feels like, what makes it better or worse, the time of day, and how much it gets in the way of your day.
  5. Leave When blank for now, or pick an earlier time.
  6. Choose Save. Saving a symptom also stars it.

Edit or delete an entry

Scroll to Your entries. Tap Edit to change an entry, then Save changes. Tap Delete to remove it.

See it over time

  • Over time graphs how bad it was, 0 to 10. Choose Day, Week, Month, 3 months, Year or All.
  • We only call a symptom better or worse after a change of about 2 points, or 30%, the smallest change people report as meaningful (Farrar 2001). Smaller moves show as no change.
  • Use Share under Your entries to copy or send your log to your care team.
  • Open Where these questions come from to see every source and how strong its evidence is.

The symptom tracker does not diagnose. If you think you are having an emergency, call 911. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988.

11a. Allergies

Anything you react to, in one place. Food, medicine, pollen and mould, insect stings, things that touch your skin such as latex or nickel, and reactions set off by exercise, cold or pressure.

This is part of your medical history. It is yours, and it is what we check against everything you log.

Record one

  1. Go to Account → Open your health record → Allergies, then tap Add.
  2. Choose the kind: Food, Medicine, Environment, Insects, Contact or Other.
  3. Type what it is. Use whatever name you know it by: a brand on a bottle, or the word on a label. "Augmentin", "casein" and "bee sting" all find the right thing.
  4. Say how bad it gets: mild, moderate or severe.
  5. Tick what happens: hives, swelling, wheezing, throat tightness, stomach upset, anaphylaxis and more.
  6. Tap Add it.

You can save just the name and come back for the rest. A half-filled record still warns you.

What we do with it

We check what you log, scan and schedule against your list.

  • Allergy. We matched something you recorded. The screen stops and names it. If you told us it has ever needed urgent care, you have to tap through deliberately.
  • This may react. We matched something the research says can react in people with your allergy, such as cashew when you recorded pistachio. We show you the figure from the study.
  • We cannot tell you this is clear. You have an allergy recorded and we cannot read the label well enough to be sure. Not knowing is not the same as safe, so we say so rather than staying quiet.

We never stop you. Every warning has a way through. myMemios tells you what it knows and you decide.

We also try hard not to cry wolf. Buckwheat is not wheat, eggplant is not egg, milk thistle is not milk, and nutmeg is not a nut. A warning you can trust is worth more than a warning you learn to tap past.

Where else it shows

  • Your food ratings already treated a food allergy as something that fails closed. That has not changed.
  • An outdoor activity on your schedule notes a pollen or sting allergy you recorded, and its season.
  • Your allergies travel into your Return to Wellness Report, so they reach your doctor.

Things you would simply rather not eat are not allergies. They live in Preferences → Diet.

11b. Conditions

What a doctor has told you that you have, and everything a care team would want to read about it.

Record one

  1. Go to Account → Open your health record → Conditions, then tap Add.
  2. Type it in your own words, in whatever way your doctor said it. As you type we suggest ways of saying it. Pick one or keep your own wording.
  3. Say where it stands now: I have it now, managing it, in remission, or resolved.
  4. Say who told you and when. A year is fine.
  5. Fill in as much of the rest as you have. None of it is required and you can come back to it.
  6. Tap Add it.

The stage

Once we recognise what you have, a stage box appears, worded the way your own condition words it.

ConditionWhat it asks forValues
CancerStage0, I, II, III, IV, with the subdivisions
Kidney diseaseStageG1, G2, G3a, G3b, G4, G5
Heart failureClassI to IV, and the A to D stage if you were given one
COPDGradeGOLD 1 to 4
DiabetesTypeType 1, type 2, gestational, prediabetes

Most conditions are not staged, and those show no stage box at all. High cholesterol does not have a stage, so we do not put an empty box in front of you inviting you to invent one. Diabetes is not staged either, which is why it asks for a type instead.

If you have melanoma you can also record the Breslow thickness and whether there was ulceration. Both are printed on your pathology report, and both are the largest factors in a melanoma stage.

We never work out a stage ourselves. Staging is done by a clinician who has examined you and read your results. We record what you were told, in the words your report uses. If you were not told, or cannot remember, choose that option and leave it.

Who is treating it, and what is being done

Each condition also holds:

  • How it was confirmed. A biopsy, a scan, a blood test, an examination or a genetic test. This is a different question from who told you, and it is the first thing a second opinion asks.
  • What is being done. Surgery, medicine, radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy, a transplant, physical therapy, changes to how you live, watching and waiting, or nothing right now. Choose as many as apply, with the dates they started and ended.
  • The doctor. Their name, their specialty, the hospital or practice, and a phone number.
  • Your next follow-up. When the next scan, scope or blood draw is due, and what it is for.

A picture of the report

Open the condition and use A picture of the report. Photograph the pathology, the scan or the letter it came from.

Six weeks later the piece of paper is usually easier to find than the exact wording, and a care team would rather see the report than your recollection of it. It stays private to you unless you choose to share it.

What we do with all of it

We keep it and show it back to you. To hand it to a doctor, use Take this to your doctor at the bottom of your health record. You decide what goes in it and when it is sent.

We do not diagnose, and we do not interpret a condition. Nothing here changes what the app suggests you do. Recording it is useful because you can hand it to somebody who needs it, not because the app is making a judgement about you.

Symptoms you are having now belong in the symptom tracker, section 11.

11c. Your health record

Everything true about your body, in one place.

Go to Account and tap Open your health record.

What is in itWhat it holds
AllergiesAnything you react to, and what happens. First on the screen, because it is the one thing we check everything you log against
ConditionsWhat a doctor has told you that you have, with the stage, the treatment and the doctor
ImmunizationsWhat you have had and roughly when
MeasurementsHeight, weight, waist, blood pressure and the rest, with their history
MedicinesWhat you take, the dose, and what is in each one
SupplementsEvery supplement you take and everything on its label
Surgeries and proceduresWhat was done, which side, roughly when, and where
SymptomsWhat you are tracking, entry by entry, with the date and time of each
Your care teamThe doctors treating you, how to reach them, and who can decide for you if you cannot

Take this to your doctor

At the bottom of your health record there is a button called Take this to your doctor. It lays your whole history out on one page, in the order a doctor reads it.

  1. Your allergies
  2. Who can make medical decisions for you
  3. Everything you take
  4. Your conditions
  5. Your surgeries
  6. Your vaccines

Everything you take is one list, medicines and supplements together. That is deliberate. A doctor reading the list is looking for things that clash, and a supplement can clash with a medicine just as easily as another medicine can. Splitting them onto two lists is how a supplement gets missed. Each row says which it is, and a product's ingredients come with it, so "turmeric capsules" arrives as turmeric and black pepper rather than as a brand name.

You choose what goes in. Every section has a tick box, and anything you leave out is named back to you before you print, so you know what your doctor is not seeing.

You can copy it into a portal message, print it, or read it out.

What is not in it yet

A doctor reading a health history would expect two more things, and we do not hold them yet. They are named on the screen rather than quietly left out, because a record that omits a whole category looks complete when it is not, and you would be the one to find out in a waiting room.

  • Test results. Bloods, scans and pathology, with the numbers and who ordered them.
  • Notes from your visits. What was said and decided at an appointment.
  • Family history. Built and nearly ready. Your family's health history is treated differently by federal law from everything else in your record, so we are taking the time to get the explanation you read beforehand right.

What is not a health fact

Two things live elsewhere because they are not facts about your body.

  • How you eat is a preference, not a fact about your body. It is under Account → How you eat.
  • Which tiles show on your home screen is a setting in this app. It is under Account → Your home screen.

Keeping them apart matters. An allergy can hurt you. A screen layout cannot.

11d. Your care team

Go to Account → Open your health record → Your care team.

A name is all you need. Dr Chen will do. Everything else is optional and you can come back to it.

There is one box worth ticking. This person can make medical decisions for me records your healthcare agent, sometimes called a healthcare proxy. If you could not speak for yourself, that is the first thing a hospital asks. Ticking it here does not create the legal document. It tells anyone reading your record who to call.

We never ask for a doctor's provider number. Almost nobody has it to hand and your record does not need it.

11e. Surgeries and procedures

Go to Account → Open your health record → Surgeries and procedures.

Write what was done in your own words. "They took out my gallbladder" is a complete entry. We keep exactly what you write and never rewrite it into medical language.

Two things are worth the extra tap. Which side, because a surgeon asks about that first and you are more likely to be right about it than anything else. And roughly when, where a year on its own is a real answer. Type 2014 and we record 2014, not the first of January.

11f. Immunizations

Go to Account → Open your health record → Immunizations.

There is no national vaccination register in the United States. The CDC says so plainly and says it does not hold your records either. So this list is yours to keep.

I am not sure is a real answer here and we record it as one. A doctor would rather know you are unsure than find a blank. Getting a vaccine twice is safe.

How many doses. Some vaccines are a course rather than a single shot. Shingles is two doses two to six months apart, and hepatitis B is three. For those, we ask how many you have had. If you do not know, leave it blank. We will not guess, and a blank is never read as an unfinished course.

If you tell us you have had fewer than the full course, the card says Series not complete. That is a reminder to raise it with your doctor or pharmacist, not a warning. It is also the single most useful thing on this page, because a half-finished shingles course is common and easy to forget.

Where you got it is the most useful box for finding the record again. It is usually the thing people do remember, and it is what lets a pharmacy or a state register look it up later.

We do not ask for a lot number. It is read off the vial at the time and the clinic that gave the injection keeps it.

11h. Exclusion Tracker

Take something out, rate how you feel each day, then add it back and see what changed. Take out as many things as you like and track as many symptoms as you like. It runs until you end it.

Start a tracker

  1. From Home, tap Exclusions, then Start a new tracker.
  2. What are you taking out? Choose Food or drink, Supplement, Medicine or Habit. Type the name, or tap one from your own lists. Tap Add to the list. Add as many as you like, then tap Next: symptoms.
  3. Which symptoms do you want to track? Tap symptoms from your Symptoms list, or search. To track something not on the list, type it under Or name your own and tap Add. Tap Next: start date.
  4. When do you start? Today, or a day in the last 30. Give it a name if you like, such as "No dairy". Tap Start tracking.

A medicine needs your prescriber's agreement. Stopping some medicines suddenly can harm you. The app asks you to confirm the person who prescribed it agreed before it goes on the list.

Check in each day

Open your tracker. For each symptom, tap a number from 0, none, to 10, the worst you can imagine. Skip any you did not notice. If you had something you took out, tick it. It happens, and ticking it keeps your report honest. Tap Save.

Use the arrows to fill in a day you missed.

A rating for a symptom from your Symptoms list also shows on the Symptoms screen, so you never enter it twice.

Add something back

Under Taken out, set the date and tap Add it back. Add back one thing at a time, and rate your symptoms for a week or so before the next, so the report can show what each one did. Changed your mind? Tap Take it out again.

To take out something new, tap Take something else out. To add or remove a symptom, tap Change symptoms.

Your progress

Your progress shows one card for each symptom:

  • The number before and the number now. Before is your average in the week before you started. If you did not rate it then, your first week stands in, and the card says so. Now is your average for the last 7 days. Each is out of 10.
  • Lower, Higher or About the same. A change counts when it is about 2 points, or 30 percent. Anything smaller shows as About the same, so one good day is not called progress.
  • A bar for each week, with a dashed line on the week you added something back.
  • What happened after an add-back. The week before compared with the week after.

An average needs at least 3 days of ratings. Until then, the card asks you to keep rating.

The report shows what went up or down and when. It does not say why. Symptoms change for many reasons, so talk to your doctor before you draw a conclusion. Memios does not diagnose.

End a tracker

Tap End this tracker. Your ratings and report stay, under Ended. Tap Start it again to carry on.

11i. Habits

Mark your habits once a day. Some habits you want to build, like a 10-minute walk after breakfast. Some you want to stop, like eating after 8 pm.

Add a habit

  1. From Home, tap Habits, then Add a habit.
  2. Choose A habit to build or A habit to stop.
  3. Type what it is, and tap Save habit.

Mark your day

For a habit to build, tap Did it or Not today. For a habit to stop, tap Avoided it or Had it. Tap your answer again to clear it. Use the arrows to fill in the last 7 days.

See how you are doing

Each habit shows the last 7 days as dots, and a line such as Kept 18 of the last 30 days, with the days in a row when there are two or more. One missed day does not undo your progress. Pick it up again the next day.

Pause or delete

Tap the box icon to pause a habit and keep its history, under Paused habits. Tap Resume to bring it back. Tap the bin, then Delete it, to remove a habit.

A habit to stop can also go in the Exclusion Tracker, to see whether your symptoms change without it.

11j. Fasting

Time a fast or mark a fast day, and read every type of fasting with what the research found, the good and the bad.

Before you fast

The Before you fast card at the top opens who should not fast, or needs a clinician first: people taking insulin or a sulfonylurea, pregnancy and breastfeeding, an eating disorder, older adults and muscle loss, and more. Each point quotes its source.

Start a fast

  1. From Home, tap Fasting, then Start a fast or mark a fast day.
  2. Choose the Type. The target hours start at what that type uses.
  3. Set when you Started, now or earlier, and the Target hours.
  4. Tap Start.

The card shows how long you have fasted, a bar to your target, and when you reach it. Tap End fast, then End it now, when you eat. Stop at any time if you feel unwell.

A fast of 48 hours or more asks you to confirm your clinician agreed. So do the 48 to 72 hour fast, prolonged water fasting and the fasting-mimicking diet, whatever target you type.

Mark a fast day

For the 5:2 diet and modified alternate-day fasting, a fast day is a low-calorie day, not a timed fast. Choose the type, set the day, and tap Save fast day.

Your last 30 days

How many fasts you finished, how many reached their target, your average length, and your fast days. Tap Delete beside one to remove it.

Types of fasting

Every type is listed by group: every day, some days of the week, longer fasts now and then, and religious fasts. Each card says why someone would choose it and how strong the evidence is. Tap one to open it:

  • TLDR comes first, in a few lines.
  • Who should be careful follows.
  • Why someone would choose it.
  • What goes wrong, then What is known, what the evidence supports and does not, and where the sources disagree.
  • Sources, with a link to each.

Memios does not give medical advice. Talk to your clinician before you fast, especially if you take medicines.

12. Body measurements and reports

Back to the index

Record the measurements a scale or watch cannot take, and see every trend in one place.

Record a measurement

  1. From Home, open Measurements.
  2. Under About your body, check your Height in feet and inches. Your calorie and protein goals are calculated from it, so fix it if it is wrong.
  3. Under Body measurements, choose what to record: weight, waist, hips, body fat, resting heart rate, or blood pressure (upper and lower numbers).
  4. Enter the value and the Date.
  5. Choose How did you measure it? if asked, for example a tape measure or a body composition scale, then save.
  6. Open History to see past entries.

Waist to hip is calculated for you when you have both.

Your reports

Open Reports from Home.

PartWhat you see
Your Apple Health dataEvery measure from your import, with full history (section 12)
TrendsA chart for each measure you choose, from Apple Health and your own entries, over the last 3 months
GoalsEach goal with your progress, from Apple Health and your own entries
Exercise activityThe days you completed your plan

Tap a trend for its full report.

  1. Open Reports and tap Choose what shows beside Trends.
  2. Tick every Apple Health measure you want. They are listed by group, such as Activity, Heart and Body measurements.
  3. Tap Save.

Until you choose, Trends shows the main measures you have, such as weight, sleep, steps, VO2 max and resting heart rate. Mood, energy and anything else you only enter in myMemios show as well once you have a reading.

Fix a number you entered

  1. Open the trend's detail page.
  2. Find the reading and tap the pencil to edit it, or the trash can to delete it.
  3. To add a missed reading, tap +, enter the value and date, and save.

If a day already has a reading, we show it and ask whether to replace it or keep both. If a day has more than one reading, the page flags it so you can replace one or keep both.

Answers from your fitness questions can be corrected but are kept as a record of what you submitted.

Share a report

Every report has Copy, Email and Share, which send a plain-text summary: latest value, average, range and change.

13. Apple Health

Back to the index

Import your Apple Health history once, and myMemios reports on every measure in it: steps, heart rate, sleep, weight, VO2 max and more. Your data goes from your device straight into your private myMemios account. It does not pass through the Memios server.

Step 1. Export from your iPhone

  1. Open the Health app.
  2. Tap your picture or initials at the top right.
  3. Tap Export All Health Data, then Export. A large history takes a while to prepare.
  4. Choose Save to Files, then iCloud Drive. The file is named export.zip.

Step 2. Import into myMemios

  1. On Home, tap Apple Health.
  2. Tap Choose Apple Health export and pick export.zip. On an iPhone or iPad it is in Files, under iCloud Drive. On a Mac it is in Finder, under iCloud Drive in the sidebar.
  3. Tap Import my Apple Health data.
  4. Keep the page open until it finishes.
  5. Under 4. Your reports, myMemios then builds your daily history. Keep the page open until it says how many measures are ready.

Importing again is safe. The same readings are not added twice, and your corrections are kept.

If an imported workout matches something on your plan, you are asked. Yes ticks the planned one off and fills it in, so it counts once instead of twice. No changes nothing.

What comes in

  • Every reading of every measure, with its time, the device or app that recorded it, and any notes Apple stores.
  • Workouts, including routes.
  • Activity rings.
  • ECGs.
  • Clinical records from your health system, if you connected them in the Health app.

Clinical records fill in your health history in the Return to Wellness Score, for you to confirm. Lab results are shown with the lab's own range and never change your Score.

Read your history

  1. Open Reports → Your Apple Health data. Every measure is listed by group with its latest value and date range.
  2. Tick the box beside a measure to add it to your dashboard.
  3. Tap a measure to open its history.
  4. Choose a time frame: Day (every reading that day, with arrows to move between days), Week, Month, 3 months, Year (weekly averages) or All (monthly averages).
  5. Tap the graph to read any day.

The boxes under the graph show the average, lowest, highest and change for the time frame. For totals such as steps, they show daily average, lowest day, highest day and days at goal.

How myMemios counts totals

Your watch, your phone and other apps often record the same steps. On any Day, the box Where this day's total comes from lists each source and the total counted once.

Like the Health app, myMemios counts your Apple Watch first. Your iPhone counts only for time the watch did not record. Other apps count only for time neither device recorded.

The same rule applies to distance, active energy, flights climbed and exercise minutes.

Which number counts

  • Newest wins. Your check-in, goals, dashboard and Score use your most recent reading. It can come from Apple Health, a check-in or a number you typed.
  • Each number shows where and when, for example "Latest from Apple Health, Sep 16, 7:02 AM".
  • On a graph, a myMemios entry is shown as an open circle only on days with no Apple Health reading.

Correct a bad reading

A scale on carpet or a mis-keyed number can put a wrong reading in your history. Readings far from the ones around them are marked Looks unusual, with a question mark on the graph.

  1. Open the measure's history.
  2. In Recent days, find the reading and tap Edit.
  3. Enter the Correct value and, if you like, why. Choose Save correction. Or choose Hide this day.
  4. To hide one reading instead of the whole day, choose Day, go to that date, and tap Hide beside the reading.
  5. Changed your mind? Tap Undo, or Show them again.

A corrected day shows "Edited, was" with the original value. Your corrections are stored apart from the imported data, so a new import never brings a bad reading back.

14. Your dashboard

Back to the index

Home is your dashboard.

What is on it, top to bottom

  1. What's Next. Your movement, food, mindfulness and habits for today. Tap it to open.
  2. Check-in. Tap it for how you feel and your energy, your symptoms, weight, sleep, water and gut, on one page.
  3. Today. Everything happening today in one list, sorted by time of day: your plan, your food, your supplements, your medicines and your appointments.
  4. Add food.
  5. Your health: VO2 max, then the tiles you chose. Each shows the latest value, its date and a trend.
  6. Square tiles, in four groups:
    • From Memios: Offers and Longevity Letter.
    • Your account and results: Account, Apple Health, Reports and Scores.
    • What you build: Activity, Food, Medications, Supplements, Goals and Measurements.
    • What you do: Exclusions, Fasting, Gut Microbiome, Habits and Schedule.

What's Next and Check-in are collapsed cards. Each says what is true right now in a line, and a tap opens the full screen behind it. That keeps Home short enough to read.

What's Next

Tap What's Next, the first card on Home. It shows your day in four numbered parts.

  1. Movement. Your VO2 max in mL/kg/min and your fitness band, with the value where the next band starts. Below it are today's workouts from the plan you follow. Switch between System Plan, Custom Plan and Coach's Plan here, the same as on Today. Tick a workout, or tap its name to add your numbers. If you have no VO2 max yet, add a reading or take the Base Score.
  2. Nutrition. Each daily food goal you set, with how much is left today. A goal you reached says Met. A limit, like sodium, says how much is left before your limit. Tap Open Food to log a meal.
  3. Mindfulness. The mind and spirit, and mind and body activities on your day, such as meditation or yoga. Your mindful minutes from Apple Health show here too. With nothing planned, Add a mindfulness activity opens the activity library.
  4. Habits. What research says about building a habit. Each point shows how strong the evidence is, a Try this you can use today, and the studies behind it. Where researchers disagree, you see both sides.

Dashboard at the top takes you back to Home.

Getting back to Home

Every screen has a Dashboard link at the top. On a screen inside another one, such as a single report, the link to the screen before sits on the left and Dashboard sits on the right.

The bar at the bottom

Home, Letter, Offers and Account. Goals is a tile on Home, one tap from where you start.

Your VO2 max tile

The tile shows your latest VO2 max and your fitness level for your age, for example "Good, about the 70th percentile for your age". Tap it for the full history graph with your goal line.

Goal lines on your graphs

VO2 max, steps and sleep each draw your own goal, the same goal you set in Goals, so the two can never disagree.

  • Steps and VO2 max show a dashed line. Days at or above it are drawn darker.
  • Sleep shows a shaded band, not a line, because the sleep goal is a range: seven to nine hours, or seven to eight if you are over 65. Both ends matter, so a ten-hour night is not drawn as a win.
  • Switch a goal off in Goals and its line simply stops being drawn.

Steps and sleep are drawn as one bar per day for the last 31 days, because a daily total is only true for the day it belongs to.

Your plan

Open What's Next and tap Your whole plan in Movement. The plan screen says which plan you are following and what each day asks of you.

Choose your plan at the top of Today on Home, in Movement on What's Next, or at the top of the plan screen. All three show the same choices:

  • System Plan. The one myMemios built from your Base Score. Its workouts appear in Today.
  • Custom Plan. Your own workouts. Schedule them from Open the schedule, and Today shows only what you scheduled, with nothing from the System Plan.
  • Coach's Plan. The one a Reclaim coach writes for you. It shows Coming soon until a coach has written one.

We remember which one you pick, so Today opens on it next time. A plan that is not ready yet stays on the list and says why.

Whichever plan you follow, a workout looks the same in your day. A session a coach wrote and a session the system built are the same kind of thing when you are standing there about to do it.

Tap the name of the one you want. A coach's plan comes forward when they write it, and again whenever they revise it, because a coach writing a plan means for you to follow it. You can switch back to your own afterwards, and your choice stands until they revise it again. If your coach has asked that theirs stays the one you follow, the card says so and the choice is theirs.

16. Privacy and your data

Back to the index

Your health data belongs to you. It is stored in your private myMemios account. Nobody else sees it unless you consent to share it.

What is stored, and where

DataWhere it lives
Check-ins, goals, food, recipes, medications, supplements, symptoms, exclusion trackers, habits, measurements, Score answersYour private myMemios account
Apple Health readings and clinical recordsYour private myMemios account. Read on your device and saved directly, never through the Memios server
Purchases and subscriptionsMemios billing records. They hold no health data
How the app is usedTotals only. A count per screen and per button, per day. No name, no account, no time of day

What we count about how the app is used

We count what gets used so we can find what is hard to use. If almost nobody adds a supplement, we would rather fix the screen than decide nobody takes supplements.

What is counted. Opening a screen, starting something, finishing it, and leaving part way. Pressing a named button. Pressing the same button again within a few seconds, which usually means the first press looked like it did nothing.

What is stored. The name of the screen or button, what happened, the date, and a number. That is the whole record. Four fields, and one of them is the count.

What is never stored. Your name, your account, your email, the time of day, the order you did things in, where on the screen you pressed, and anything you have entered. Your weight, your food, your symptoms, your medicines and your health record are no part of this and never travel with it.

Why it cannot become a picture of you. The counts are totals shared by everybody. There is no row with your name on it, because there is no name in a row. Working out that a press followed another press happens on your own phone and stays there. What leaves your phone is a button, a date and a number.

Your consents

Each consent is its own choice and is never ticked for you. Collecting your health data needs your consent. Sharing it needs a separate consent. This follows Washington's My Health My Data Act.

To change a consent: open Account → Your consents, tick or untick, and choose Save my choices.

Download your data

  1. Open Account → Your data.
  2. Choose Download my data (JSON). You get a file with everything in your account.

Share with your doctor

  • Your Report's "What to discuss with your doctor" page is made for your appointment. Use Print.
  • Each history page and report has Copy, Email and Share.
  • Nothing is sent to a doctor unless you send it.

Profile and units

Account → Profile holds your name, phone, time zone and units. Change units any time. Every number in the app switches to match.

17. Your plan and upgrading

Back to the index

What your plan includes

Some parts of myMemios come with certain Reclaim plans. Anything that is not on your plan still appears where you would expect it, with a small padlock. We would rather show you what is there than hide it and leave you wondering.

Tap a padlock and we tell you three things: what the feature is, which plan includes it, and an offer to upgrade you there and then.

Some things are on every plan, including the free one, and always will be. Your allergies, your conditions, your medicines and supplements, how you eat, the symptoms you track, and your health record. These are how myMemios keeps you safe, and safety is not something we sell.

Upgrade

  1. Tap Upgrade now on any padlock, or open Offers from your dashboard.
  2. Choose the plan you want. If you arrived from a locked feature, we say at the top which one sent you.
  3. Choose Upgrade to that plan. Payment goes through Stripe.
  4. Your plan changes as soon as payment goes through, and everything on it opens straight away.

If checkout will not open, or anything looks wrong, email support@memios.ai. A person reads it and we will sort it out with you, usually the same day.

Credits on your account

Sometimes we credit an account: to say thank you, to put something right, or because you asked us a fair question and we agreed with you.

  • The credit goes on your Memios account and comes off your next payment automatically. There is nothing for you to claim and no code to type.
  • We email you when it happens, with the amount and the reason.
  • If you have not paid us for anything yet, the credit waits on your account and comes off the first thing you ever buy.

If a credit looks wrong, or you were expecting one and cannot see it, reply to that email or write to support@memios.ai. We are always glad to hear from you.

Getting help

  • In the app: tap Help in the top bar for this guide and the FAQs.
  • Send feedback: go to Account → Send feedback to report a problem or ask for a feature.
  • Email: support@memios.ai.
  • An emergency: call 911.
  • Thoughts of harming yourself: call or text 988, any time.

Send feedback

Tell us when something is not working, or when you have an idea for myMemios.

  1. Go to Account and tap Send feedback.
  2. Choose Something is not working, An idea or a feature request or Something else.
  3. Write what happened. For a problem, say what you tapped, what you expected and what you saw instead.
  4. Add up to three screenshots if they help. On a phone, Add a screenshot opens your photos and Take a photo opens the camera.
  5. Tap Send.

Your feedback goes straight to the Memios team as a priority email, and we reply by email when we need to know more. A screenshot can show your health information, so crop out anything you would rather we did not see. Screenshots come to us by email and are not kept in the app.

Find an answer fast

Help holds three things and one search box.

  • Quick Start: the major functions of myMemios, a line or two each.
  • User Guide: this guide.
  • FAQs: short answers to common questions.

Type in the search box at the top and it searches all three at once. Each result says whether it came from Quick Start, the guide or the FAQs. Back to Help returns you from any article, from the top or the bottom.
