Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date: [confirm]
This policy is required by Washington's My Health My Data Act and applies to consumer health data we collect through myMemios. It sits alongside our main Privacy Policy.
What is consumer health data here
Information that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health. In myMemios this includes your goals, vitals (weight, sleep, VO2 Max, heart rate variability), movement limits, dietary needs, medications and supplements you log, and the activity you record.
What we collect and why
We collect this data to build and adjust your plan, to show your progress, and to run the features you choose. We collect only what those features need.
How we get your consent
- We ask for your clear, separate opt-in before we collect health data.
- We ask for a second, separate opt-in before we share health data with a partner such as Healthie.
- You can withdraw either consent at any time in the app. Withdrawing consent stops new collection or sharing going forward.
Who we share it with
We share health data only with service providers who help us run the app, and with Healthie when you choose a service, each under a contract that protects it. We do not sell health data, and we will not, which means we do not seek the separate authorization a sale would require.
Your rights
- Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your health data, and access it.
- Get a list of who we shared it with.
- Withdraw consent.
- Delete your health data. We honor deletion requests and tell our service providers to delete it too.
To exercise these rights, use the app or contact privacy@memios.ai. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our response.
Security and access
We restrict access to health data to people who need it for your care or the service, and we log that access.
